Learn about management and HOW to solve behavior problems. Sometimes just being aware of what you are rewarding can take you far towards having a pet that does as you ask all the time.
Choice based training using positive reinforcement techniques creates a dog that wants to be obedient....and wants to spend time with you. Do you love training? This class opens a world of opportunities for games and sport training in your future...I can keep you and your dog busy for years with lots of different training games.

June 8, 2022The AKC Canine Good Citizen program helps owners understand the skills they need to train for their dogs to behave out in public.The first five weeks we will practice all 10 exercises to pass the AKC CGC test.The Canine Good Citizen test will be administered during the last class.Focus will be on helping your dog to perform all the exercises without treats. What!!!! No treats?????That's right!!! We want your dogs to understand cues, not just follow the cookie.Test Items:- Accepting a friendly stranger
- Sit politely for petting
- Appearance and Grooming
- Walk on a Loose Leash
- Walking through a crowd
- Sit, Down, & Stay
- Come when called
- Stay calm around another dog
- Demonstrate confidence with distractions
- Supervised Separation from Handler
