Teaching independent weave pole performance takes time and patience. There are many skills for your dog to learn - how to enter, how to manage his body to make all those tight turns at speed, how to commit to all 12 weave poles, and how to approach the weaves from many different angles and distances.
We will break all this down and work with each team at their own level. This workshop is designed to help you learn how to teach your dog to weave with confidence. If you can only afford one piece of agility equipment, weave poles would be my recommendation. You need to practice often, but for short periods of time. Each session can focus on a different specific skill.
There are also several different methods of teaching weaves. We will introduce several of them. You can then decide which works best for you.
