October 3, 2022(2 events) 5:30 pm: Beginner Dog Training.... Sept 19 for 6 weeks...5:30 pm – All the basics for a well-trained dog. For puppies as young as 10 weeks - up to adult.... Eye contact, hand targeting, Polite Leash Walking, Sit, Down, Stand, Stay, Come, Leave It, Drop it, Tug, Polite Meets and Greets, Polite leash walking, Go to your special place. Learn about management and HOW to solve behavior problems. Sometimes just being aware of what you are rewarding can take you far towards having a pet that does as you ask all the time. Choice based training using positive reinforcement techniques creates a dog that wants to be obedient....and wants to spend time with you. Do you love training? This class opens a world of opportunities for games and sport training in your future...I can keep you and your dog busy for years with lots of different training games. 6:45 pm: Polite Greetings & Impulse Control..... October 3 – Calm greetings are easier for everyone. Learn how to teach your dog to remain calm when greeting other dogs or people. To be successful at greetings, dogs need to have a bit of impulse control. We will practice a few games to help teach this. Teaching our dogs to think before acting is another life skill that will make our dogs much easier to live with. October 4, 2022(1 event) 9:30 am: Fast on the Flat - all levels.....Sep 27 - 5 weeks at 930 & 1030am – Agility on the flat! Learn how to negotiate a fast agility course utilizing just tunnels, hoops, and barrels. For dogs of any age. This is a mixed levels class.
