Learn about management and HOW to solve behavior problems. Sometimes just being aware of what you are rewarding can take you far towards having a pet that does as you ask all the time. Choice based training using positive reinforcement techniques creates a dog that wants to be obedient....and wants to spend time with you. Do you love training? American Legion Hall 6:45 pm: Workshop - Rock Solid Stays/Place/Off6:45 pm: Workshop - Rock Solid Stays/Place/Off – Having a reliable “STAY” cue is a necessary for every dog. We will work through the basics of proofing your stay cue, as well as teach your dog to go to a mat or cot and stay there until told to get off. Although this isn’t something we use everyday, it takes a bit of practice for our dogs to understand. Having a dog that heels at our side when asked, will also help our dogs get out of the habit of dragging their handlers around the neighborhood.
